In the often cut-and-paste world of adult entertainment, Joanna Angel stands apart as one of the industry's unique stars. She was born on December 25, 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts. Her shy, introverted youth made her the object of jabs and barbs, though the experience steeled her for what would become her academic pursuits and her career aspirations. After graduating from high school, Joanna enrolled at Rutgers University where she graduated with a degree in English and a minor in Film Studies.
