Belle Knox (aka Lauren, Aurora) is an adult film star who rose to infamy in early 2014 after her fellow Duke University students exposed her porn alter ego. The freshman became the subject of scandal for her appearances in web scenes, which are collected in PornPros' Belle Gets Schooled. As Belle's infamy grew, she gave an interview to Duke's Chronicle student newspaper. She wrote essays defending her choice to become a porn star for the xoJane website under the pen name "Lauren A" and later as Belle Knox. Belle also appeared on Piers Morgan Live on CNN and gave an interview to Playboy. Belle hopes to become a women's rights activist and a lawyer after graduation.
